Bauchi govt to renovate govt house with N6.1bn, says present structure "embarrassing"
Bauchi State Government has intended to renovate is Government house with over N6.1billion.
The data was delivered by the Commissioner for Environment and Housing Mr. Hamisu Muazu Shira while talking with columnists.
He said that the current Government House was worked during the formation of the state in 1976.
Acccording to him, the current structure is a shame.
He added: "On the off chance that you check a few expresses that were made a similar time with Bauchi State, you will see that practically every one of them have remade government houses.
"This structure was worked by the military government. We have introduced a reminder during the Executive Council meeting before the lead representative and N6.1billion will be spent to reproduce the Government House.
"Likewise, we will reproduce Bauchi Government Lodge in Abuja where the lead representative, his agent, speaker, boss appointed authority, secretary to the state government and columnists can utilize whenever they are in Abuja. The lead representative's office around the ECOWAS central command will be redesigned as well. This will cost the public authority N3.1million
